教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 能掌握以下单词:outgoing, better, loudly, quietly, hard-working, competition, fantastic, which, clearly, win
能掌握以下句型:
① Tina is taller/shorter/heavier/friendlier… than Tara.
② Sam has longer/shorter hair than Tom.
③ She also sings more loudly/clearly… than Tara.
2) 能掌握以下语法:
① 形容词或副词比较级形式的构成。
② 表示两者进行比较的句式结构。
2. 情感态度价值观目标:
能对人物的外表进行描绘,个性进行比较。并用所学内容表达自己对国家,对学校,对班级,对朋友,对师长,对自己的美好祝愿,以此培养学生对祖国,对学校,对师长,对朋友的热爱之情。

教学过程:
Step1.Lead –in: Free talk with the Ss.
T: As we all know ,our motherland---China’ birthday is coming. Do you know, how old is China?
Ss:70 years old.
T: Yes, it’s her 70th birthday, in the last 70 years, China has changed a lot. our country is becoming stronger. People’s life is becoming better.Our school is also becoming better.
Would you like to know more about my school and my student? Now, let me introduce some of my lovely students to you.
(设计意图:让学生感受中国70年间的变化,以此渗透德育教育,并自然导入新课。)
Step2 Presentation
Use some photos of my students to review words: tall, short ,thin ,heavy, long hair, short hair,quietly,loudly. And then show the new words: taller, t hinner, shorter, heavier, more quietly, more loudly. quieter, more outgoing ,as hard-working as, friendlier, faster, higher
Practice the new words with the twins’pictures.And present the new sentence structure: A + be(V) + 比较级 + than + B.
