Report: Male and Female Enrolments These two pie charts display the proportional representation of males and females in 6 specific faculties-Engineering, Economics and Commerce, Sciences, Law, Medicine and Nursing, and Humanities and Arts- at a particular university. Generally, males are under-represented in Humanities and Arts, and Medicine and Nursing while females are under-represented in Engineering and Sciences. The faculties of Economics and Commerce, and Law are comparatively represented. Humanities and Arts receives the least male enrolments at just 7% of total enrolments. Medicine and Nursing receives 7% of enrolments while Engineering and Sciences are at the other end of the scale with 22% and 25% respectively. Female enrolments, in contrast, run the other way with Humanities and Arts enrolments comprising the largest percentage of total enrolments at 37%. Medicine and Nursing, though only receiving 13% of enrolments, doubles that of males, while Engineering enrolments make up a tiny 4%, and Sciences receives less than half as many females as males.
