一、Teaching objectives:
1. Describing people, animals and things. Identifying colors. Asking about and identifying household items their colors, Asking about and identying fruits.
2. Review the Key words: the vocabularies in Units 1-4.
3. Review the Alphabet words in Units 1-4.
4. Review the language structures in Units 1-4.
I’m/You’re/He’s/She’s/We’re/They’re happy.
What color is this? It’s orange./red…
What’s that? It’s a pink lamp. Is that a black pillow? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.
What are these? They are pears. Are these peaches? Yes, they are./No, they aren’t.
二、Teaching key points:
1. Be able to listen, speak, read and write the words in Units 1-4.
2. Be able to read and use the new language structures in Units 1-4.
3. Can read and listen Aa to sound and words.
三、Teaching difficult points:
1. Can use the words and language structures fluently and correctly.
2. Be able to understand the use of I’m … she’s… and he’s…. We‘re…and they’re…, Is that a …? Are these…?
四、Teaching aids: VCD, picture cards

Review Units 1-4 and do the exercise1, 3, 4, in Review 1
二、Teaching procedure:
Step One: Warming-up.
1. Sing a song: What color i s this? I’m happy.
Ss sing the song and clap the hands.
Step Two: Reviewing.
1. Game: Bomb game
The words are bombs so the Ss mustn’t read them out or they will get a bomb while the pictures are safe for the Ss to read out.
T shows the cards in Units1-4 and have Ss read the words as quickly as they can.
Do it several times to review the words and cheer up the Ss.
2. Oral English to review the language structure.
(1) Since the Ss have review the words, the T make a dialogue with some Ss to refresh the Ss’ memories on the target language from Unit1 to Unit4.
T: Hello! I’m tall, You’re short.
S1:Hi! I’m…. / You’re...
T: I’m happy. Are you happy?
S1: Yes, I am.
T: Hello! What’s that? S1: It’s a/an red/or
