1. Farmers keep taking land to make farmland.
2. Workers change wetlands to make more space for
factories and buildings.
3. The government does business there to make money.
Divide the students into groups of 4 and discuss about what
they can do to help.
Say ‘ Luckily, there are some big nature reserves . One of them is Yancheng. Guess how big it is.
3.Talk about Yancheng Nature Reserve
4.Go through the facts about Yancheng on Page75, and then listen to the tape?and tick out the facts mentioned in the tape.
