Methods:From April to December in 2012， our department has treated twenty-three cases of patients with advanced tumo using PICC technology import after the implement of BD closed intravenous catheter in place of import sheath， with catheter maintenance. Results:Successfully placed the PICC tubes for twenty-three cases of patients with advanced tumo using BD closed intravenous catheter in place of import sheath， which made the clinical success rate was 100%，the distal end of the catheter reached on the vena cava，infusion unobstructed，positioned by X-ray.
