Teacher asks students to read the the sentence by Proust and think about the meaning. Teacher asks students to share their understandings of the sentence and their opinions on different ways of exploring the world. Students watch the video to appreciate the mysteries around the world. Activity 2 Teacher asks students to prepare a speech about what exploration means to them. Students are encouraged to give the speech to the whole class. To guide students to apply what they have learnt and develop their skills of giving a speech. Activity 3 Teacher guides students to recall what they’ve learnt in this unit.
