Procedures Note：T=Teacher；Ss=Students. Stage Activities Purpose Time Lead-in Step 1 Guess the meaning of the title of the unit; Brainstorm the “unknown”. Activate Ss’ knowledge background (language knowledge general knowledge) about the theme . 1 min Step 2 Give the role “the introducer” to Ss, and lead them to predict the content of the whole unit; Introduce the topics of the 7 periods in the unit in general.
