The model is submitted to MSC Nastran for a modal frequency response analysis with a modal damping of 1%. Open and review the Nastran input file WS13-4_nastran-input.bdf. 2. Modify the input file to use the Lanczos method of eigenvalue extraction. Retain modes up to a frequency of 250 Hz. 3. Using a TABDMP1 entry add Modal damping with a constant critical damping ratio of 1% across the whole frequency range (use the ‘G’ form). 4. Add MPC at node 10000 using RBE2 entry. 5. Define a frequency step in the range of 1 to 100 Hz using the FREQ1 entry, also define ‘Spread’ around each frequency using FREQ4 entry.
