It’s my great honor to be here and share my teaching ideas with all of you. I’d like to explain it from the following four aspects. (what-who- why -how). “what” refers to analysis of the teaching material. “Who” is the analysis of target students. “Why” consists of learning objectives and teaching focusdifficulties. “How” is the teaching procedures. Besides, I add the guiding theories and features of my design to make you have a better understanding of my lesson Now, I will explain them one by one. My teaching is based on the theories in the New Curriculum Standard, 2022, such as “core competencies”, “The activity-based approach to English learning” and “Integration of Teaching-Learning-Assessment”. Also, Bloom’s Taxonomy of learning is adopted in my teaching. All the theories direct my teaching clearly. Part2. Part2. What to teach Second.What to teach. The analysis of teaching material.The content of my teaching is from PEP Go For It, Grade 8, Book B U6 An old man tried to move the mountains Period3 Grammar Focus-4C.The theme is Man Societyand the sub-theme is Literature and Art The topic of this unit is Legends Stories. And the function is to tell a story. The main structure is adverbial clause and conjunctionsunless, as soon as, so...that. Let’s have a look at the English curriculum content with six components integrated and this is the overview of this unit. Here I will explain the text in the period 3 in details from the following three aspects: what, how and why. Part Part3. Who to teach The target students are eighth graders. According to their background knowledge , KWL model is adopted to analyze the learners. Part Part4. Why to teach Here is the objectives of the whole unit, which highlights the core competencies and reflects the cognitive levels. Based on it, the
