Teaching difficulties: To express their own feelings. Teaching equipments: White board Teaching procedure: Step I: Warm up Listening practice. Ask questions about the passage. And lead to the topic “How to describe a person”. Step 2: Leading in Let’s play a brain storm game. If you are asked to write an article about a person, what are you going to write about him/ her? Step 3: Analysis and draw conclusions. Analysis if their answers are right or not; then the teacher draw a conclusion. Tell students pay special attention to the patterns and complex sentences. Show two kinds of articles they have written, and let them tell the difference between the two articles. Emphasis the importance of neat and tidy on the test paper. Step 4: Write an article according to the knowledge learned. Giving advice to the one who need, and help them correct the mistakes. 10-15 ms is ok. Step 5: Share their articles to the others. Read out the articles their group members written, then underline their favourite sentences and phrases. They can widen their mind through this step.
