Lead in Leading in 【情景 1】 T: Today we will begin a new unit. It’s called My Neighbourhood. Who can tell me what it means in Chinese? Ss: “My neighbourhood” means“我的街区”。 T: Good job! Look at Li Ming’s map of his perfect neighbourhood at the bottom of the lesson . What can you see? S1: There is a corner store, a park, a parking lot, a bank, a video store and house in his neighbourhood. T: Well done! What’s in your neighbourhood? Do you like your neighbourhood? Why or why not? Discuss these questions with your partner. Ask the students to share their answers with the class.
