Part 1 Analysis?of?the?teaching?material.?
The lesson?is?taken from?Unit 3 in student book 3, Grade 8. The?topics are talking about personal?traits and?comparing?people. As?a?writing?lesson,?it talks?about?the?similarities and differences between?friends. Mainly use writing approach and communicative approach as for teaching and learning methods.
Part 2 Analysis?of?the?students?
The?students?have?learned?English?for?several years. They’re?active,?imaginative and they are interested?in?the?topic?about?personal traits, especially their friends.?
However, most students know the words and phrases, but some of them can’t write full sentences. Although?they?have?learned?the?comparative?forms?before, some students can’t use the forms correctly.?There?is?still?a?long?way?to?train students’ writing?ability, speaking?ability,?independent?thinking?ability?and?cooperative?ability.
