Teaching procedure
Step1:Greeting:
At the beginning of the class,I will greet the whole class as usual.(有激情地) Hello, boys and girls. How are you?
Step2: Warm up:
Boys and girls, Are you happy today? OK,Let’s sing a song together. (I’m listening to music. I’m reading a book...)
Through greeting and singing, let the students well prepared for the class, and build active English learning atmosphere.
Step3、Presentation
Revision:
“OK,boys and girls,Look at the screen, I’ll show you some pictures. You have to call out the verb and do the action. For example(出示图片〕: “read a book, ride a bike, fly a kite, listen to music, play football〞, you’ll say and do the action with me.
Through these activities, I want to help the Ss to revise verb phrases to prepare for the using of “They’re doing sth.〞sentence pattern.
Next, lead in
When all the Ss say the last phrase, Ask the Ss to look at the screen, I’ll show the picture of a boy who is reading a book.(出示图片) then ask “What’s he doing? Let the Ss answer “He’s reading a book.〞 Then, I will use more pictures to help the Ss to practice the sentences 〔出示图片〕“What’s she doing? She’s listening to music. She’s talking to her friend.〞
Through leading in, revise the sentence pattern of last period,and arouse Ss interest in learning.
Now, I will talk about new lesson.
Boys and girls, look at the screen, 〔出示图片〕It’s a park. In the park, We can see lots of interesting things. Look at the old man,〔出示图片〕 What’s he doing?〔稍做停顿〕 He’s doing taijiquan.〔板书do taijiquan〕 Boys and girls, Can you do taijiquan ?OK, follow me, do taijiquan.(do the action).Now, Look at the people, What are they doing? They’re doing taijiquan.
Now,Look at the little boy on the boat. What’s he doing? He’s rowing a boat .〔板书〕Follow me, (row, row, row a boat) say and do the action. Then, look at the men, what are they doing? They are rowing a dragon boat. 〔板书〕I will use the same way to help the Ss to learn.〔play chess、drink soy
