Based on the theory of complex ecosystem, this paper constructed a high-qual- ity development evaluation system, and explored the spatial differentiation and driving factors of high-quali- ty development of urban agglomerations in the Yellow River Basin from 2010- 2018 by using the entropy weight TOPSIS method, coupled coordination degree model and geographical probe. The results show that: 1) The high-quality development of urban agglomerations have the spatial characteristics of leading in the low- er reaches, revitalizing in the middle reaches and lagging in the upper reaches, and social livelihood of the people is the primary lim
