This report presents the progress of output beam shaping design of semiconductor laser in the mid-term research project. Introduction Semiconductor lasers are widely used in various fields such as communication, industry, medicine and defense. The output beam of semiconductor lasers is not ideal, which affects the performance and limits its practical applications. The output beam of a semiconductor laser is usually divergent, asymmetric and contains higher-order modes, which causes serious problems in the fields of communication and fine processing. Beam shaping technology can effectively improve the quality of the output beam of the semiconductor laser, and is widely used in laser machining, optical communication, and other fields. Beam shaping design of semiconductor laser The beam shaping design of semiconductor lasers mainly includes two aspects: optical system design and numerical simulation.
