从适应理论的角度看电影片名汉英翻译
摘要:本文试图从文化适应理论的角度对英语电影的中文字幕翻译进行研究,以提高电影字幕翻译的质量。根据功能翻译理论中的“文化适应论”,翻译过程的最高原则是翻译活动本身的文化适应。因此,字幕翻译是一种文化适应。电影字幕翻译的主要文化适应是在特定的文化背景下,在时间和空间的限制下,有效地向观众传达相关信息,使观众更好地理解和欣赏电影作品,从而吸引更多的观众观看电影,从而获得更高的票房收入。为了达到字幕翻译的效果,译者必须重视不同的文化现象,遵循相应的翻译原则,在翻译实践中采取具体的翻译策略。

C-E Translation of Film Titles from the Perspective of Adaptation Theory
abstract:This paper attempts to study the Chinese subtitle translation of English films from the perspective of acculturation theory in order to improve the quality of film subtitle translation. According to the acculturation theory in the functional translation theory, the supreme principle of the translation process is the acculturation of the translation activity itself. Therefore, subtitle translation is a kind of acculturation. The main acculturation of film subtitle translation is to effectively convey relevant information to the audience in a specific cultural background under the restriction of time and space, so that the audience can better understand and appreciate the film works, so as to attract more audiences to watch the film, so as to obtain higher box office earnings. In order to achieve the results of subtitle translation, translators must attach importance to different cultural phenomena, follow the relevant translation principles and adopt specific translation strategies in their translation practice.
