Abriefreviewofthephenomenonofaromaticityisprovided.Thehistoricalaspectsofthispropertyof
moleculesarecovered,andcontemporaryviewsofaromaticityaredescribed.
Whenchemistscomeacrossthetermsaromaticandsynonymouswithbenzenoid.Althoughthetermaromatic
aromaticcharacteritmakesmostofthemthinkofbenzene.wasusedtodescribethechemistryofbenzenederivatives,
