六、“介词+关系代词which物、whom人、whose…的”可引导限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句
关系代词whom或which在定语从句中作介词宾语时，介词可放在后面，也可提前构成“介词+whom/which”.若从句中的谓语是一个动词短语时，如lookfor,lookafter,takecareof等，动词短语中介词不能拆开提前。
eg.Thisistheanswerwhichwearelookingfor.
关系代词whom,which在定语从句中作介宾且介词双放在后面时，可省去，但若介词提前，不可省略。
eg.Sheisthegirlaboutwhomwejusttalked.
“介词+whose”引导的定语从句，表示“…的”（介词短语中含有one’s结构）
eg.Jim,inwhoseopinionEnglishisuseless,likesEnglishverymuchnow.
“复杂介词+whom/which”(复杂介词如：infrontof,becauseof,asaresultof,atthebackof等)
eg.①Hetoldushelivedinahotelatthebackofwhichisasmallgarden.
②Thisisthereasonbecauseofwhichhefailedintheexam.
“数词（three,some,all）+ofwhom/which”
eg.①Theoldmanhasfoursons,threeofwhomaresoldiers.
②Iboughtfivebookslastweek,allofwhichwerenovels.
●介词on,in,at,for等与关系代词which一起引导定语从句时，若表示时间、地点、原因可与相关的关系副词when,where,why替换。
6.“名词+of+which/whom”→“whose+名词”
eg.①I’lltalktothestudentsthehomeworkofwhomhasn’tbeendone.
(whosehomework)
②Ioncelivedinahousetheroofofwhichhasfallenin.
(whoseroof)
