inthefieldofcomputervisionandpatternrecognitionorganizedbytheIEEE.Itisheld
annuallyandexplorescutting-edgeissuesincomputing.Thismaterialisofgreatinterestasit
detailstheprinciples,corefeatures,andapplicationsofTeslaslatestAutopilottechnology.
TheEffortModelproposedbyFrenchscholarDanielGiledividestheprocessof
consecutiveinterpretingintotwostagesandsevenaspects,whichmakesinterpretingresearch
moresystematic.Consecutiveinterpretingcombineslistening,speaking,reading,andwriting
andrequirestheinterpreterseffortandcoordinationatallstages.Inthisreport,theinterpreter
explorestheapplicationofthismodelinsimulatedconsecutiveinterpreting.
Thisreportisdividedintofiveparts.Thereportfocusesonpre-taskpreparation,
interpretationpractice,andpost-taskcaseanalysis.Theinterpreteranalyzedtheinterpreting
practicebasedontheeffortmodelandusedspecificexamplestoexaminehowtoreducethe
interpretingloadfromfouraspects:listeningcomprehension,note-taking,short-termmemory,
andproductionduringtheinterpretingprocess.Throughanalysis,targetedcopingstrategies
areproposed,includingpreparingintra-linguisticandextra-linguisticknowledge,
accumulatingabbreviationsandsymbols,omission,reconstructing,etc.,hopingtoprovide
somereferenceforinterpretinglearners.
