Abstract

Aweddingisaceremonyidentifyingthemarriagerelationshipbetweenhusbandandwifeinpublic,soitisanimportantpartofculture.Therefore,inalmosteverykindofsocialculture,therearesomeuniqueweddingcustoms.However,withtheprogressofsocietyandtheimpactofglobalization,theweddingculturesinChinaandAmericahavebeenundermutualinfluencegreatly.ThestudyonthedifferencesbetweenAmericanandChinesemarriagecultureandculturalintegrationcanhelpEnglish-learnershaveaclearunderstandingofthehistoricalandculturalbackgroundoftheChineseandAmericanwedding.Inaddition,thestudywillstrengthenthepeoplesawarenessofWesternculture,therebystrengthentheircross-culturalawareness,sothattheywillunderstandandtreattheculturaldifferencesfairlyandinheritandcarryforwardournationalelementsinthewedding.Thispaperinterpretstheconceptandessenceofmarriagefromatheoreticalperspective,comparesthedifferencesbetweenChineseandAmericanmarriageviews,andanalyzesthereasonsforthedifferencesbetweenChineseandAmericanmarriageviews,andexplorestheimpactofdifferentmarriageviewsoncountriesinordertotargetpeopletowomen.Concernsabouttheequalstatusofthefamily.
