Abstract

Logarithmsareaveryimportantconceptinmathematics,withwideapplicationsinvariousfieldsofscienceandengineering.

Effectivelyteachingtheconceptoflogarithmshasbecomeasignificantchallengeineducation.Thisarticlefocusesonteaching

designfromtheperspectiveofHPM,usingtheconceptoflogarithmicfunctionsasanexampletodelveintotheteachingdesign

process.Byanalyzinghowstudentsunderstandlogarithms,ithelpsthemgrasptheconceptbetter,usingHPMtoguidestudentsin

reconstructinghistory,buildingconcepts,andmasteringthebasicideasoflogarithms.Thisapproachenhancesstudents

mathematicalreasoningabilitiesandconnectsthemwithreal-worldproblems.Thisresearchcaneffectivelyimprovestudents

understandingandapplicationoflogarithms,enhanceteachingeffectiveness,andstimulatestudentsinterestinlearning,providing

valuableinsightsforfutureteachingpractices.
