Ericssonhasspentmorethan20yearsresearchingthecarbonemissionsof

digital,whilebuildingextensivedatasetsandpublishingfindingsinpeer-reviewedscientificjournalsandatconferences.

Havingreviewedmultiplestatementsaboutthecarbonemissionsofdigitalsolutionsandcomparedthesetoourpublishedresults,wearesharingsomeofourfindingshere.Furtherexplanations,calculationsandreferences

behindthestatementsandfiguresinthisreportcanbefoundinasupplementarybackgroundreport.Themainstudycitedinthisreportwaspublishedin2018afterscientificreview.1
