The resu lts show ed that during com post ing o f the p ig m anure, adding wheat straw cou ld short the tmi e o f reach ing high- tem perature ferm entat ion, the loss of n itrogen decreased, the dec line ratio of C /N enhanced, the decom po- sition o f tox ic and harm fu l substances accelerated. The every layer tem perature of at 6B4 m ix ture of p ig m anure and w heat straw rose to 50e in 2~ 5 days, and high- tem perature lasted for 37~ 46 days. A t the end of com pos-
