Abstract: OBJECTIVE T o under stand the status of M y co bacter ium t uber c ulosis and multi drugr esistant nosocomial
infectio n, to take effect ive measur es to co nt rol nosoco mial infect ion, as well as to prov ide the scient ific basis fo r
clinica l rat ional drug use. METHODST he sputum M . t uber c ulos is culture and dr ug susceptibilit y test r esults of
1460 cases of tuberculo sis hospital patients admitted fr om Jan 2008 to Dec 2009 w ere analy zed retr ospectively .
RES LTSM . t uber culosis multidr ugresistant strains acco unted fo r 14 . 66% . Amo ng the 1460 strains of tested
M . tuberc ulosis, multi drug resistant strains of tuberculosis accounted for 23. 58% , sing le dr ug resistant stra ins
accounted for 35. 74% . CONCL SION T uberculo sis hospitals at all levels should attach im po rtance to t he drug
r esistance of M . t uberc ulosis and pr ev ent ion of the spr ead of multi drug resistant strains and epidemics.
