Abstract:In this study, the author s have conducted surveys on the statu s and existing problems of the de2
velopment of spor ts indu stry in Beij ing and analyzed the developmental opportunity and challenges faced
by Beij ing by means of literatur e review, questionnair e, and interviews wit h exp erts, etc. Based on the a2
bove analy sis, a ten2year overall objective of the sports indu stry development in Beij ing fr om 2006 to 2015
has been put forward, involving three per iods: Olympic indu st ry 2006 ) 2008 ) , adju stment p eriod
2009) 2010) , and coordinat ion and development p eriod 2011) 20 15) . F ur thermor e, 13 specific meas2
ur es have been pr oposed so as to achieve the above over all objective.
