20 ( ) - 3 - Abstract Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) has been risen in western countries since the second half of 20th century and eventually formed an international tidal current. World famous TNCs seek to combine the global public problems’ solutions with corporate international development stratagem. This thesis try to discuss and analyse this international phenomenon and bring forward TNCs two ways to carry out “global responsibility”——perfecting corporate governance through fulfill global responsibility authentication standards; through participation in global governance. Focusing on TNC’s global responsibility this thesis probes into two channels for TNCs to participate in global governance. One is to cooperate with UNand the other is to cooperate with INGOs. This is the main clues of thought of the thesis. Finally the thesis offers to discuss further the global responsibility of Chinese transnational corporations.
