2010 National Teaching Seminar on Cryptography and Information Security (2010NTS-CIS) Exploration of Electrical Characteristics of Information Security Personnel Training Mode LI Hongjiao, YUAN Zhongxiong, SHI Zhengyi, TANG Zhong (School of Computer and Information Engineering, Shanghai Institute of Electric Power, Shanghai, P.R.C ，200090) lihongjiao@shiep.edu.cn Abstract: This article discusses the professional position and development goals of information security professional of Shanghai Institute of Electric Power and then explores application-oriented information security personnel training mode with electrical characteristics from three aspects: teachers team construction curriculum teaching and practice teaching. The teachers team construction aims to introduce and cultivate talents with solid theoretical basis and practical ability of high power features. Then a scheme of power features cultivating course system is put forward ,which consists of five aspects knowledge of information security, including information science foundation, the basis of information security, application of cryptography, the information system security and computer network security, etc. Also, course teaching is discussed. Third, daily experiment practice, curriculum design, professional practice, laboratory construction, second class innovation plan altogether construct the core of practice teaching system. Through above-mentioned aspects, we endeavor to build a more scientific and reasonable social economic development and power industries need information security professional talent training mode.
