With the increasing of themass and stiffness of transfer beam, the inter-story displacement angle ratio of above and below the transfer layer diverse largely.The earthquake response of structure can not be controlled effectively only by limiting the lateral stiffness below and above thetransfer story. The ratio of inter-story displacement angle of aboveand below is defined as themaximum value of them.The calculation result shows that better structure seismic response can be got using the inter-story displacement angleratio as control index.
