Then the degree of correlation between calcu lated mode s and exp erim en tal mode s is calcu lated by app lying the theory of modal correlation analysis. The re su lts show that the calcu lated mode s well accord w ith exp erim en tal one s, indica ting that fin ite elem en t analysis can determ ine the dynam ic s p erform ance of real structu re s w ith sufficien t accu racy.
