Abstract: Nonlinear c aract eristics for t e core of transformer is very important in comput ing excit ing current or etc.
a few of articles utilize improperly t e nonlinear c aracteristic. For example, U-i curve is regarded to be conformable
to B-H curve regardless w et er magnetic coupling exists in t e core. T is paper discusses t e relations ip of t e
two kinds of curves for different structural t ransformer . Conclusions are draw n t at t e B-H curve is similar to U-i
curve for single-p ase transformer, t e U- i curve for symmetrical t ree-p ase transformer is multiple B- H curve.
T e relat ions ip of two kinds of curves for asymmetric t ree-p ase transformer is deduced in t is paper.
