Abstract: In order to improve the performance of auto start-up and the w orking conditions of batteries,
this paper proposes a new model of motor starting system structure w ith the ultra-capacitance blended
battery , and the parameter matching of this structure is researched. A petrol engine w ith a capacity of
11 8 L is taken for an example, and the parameters of the system are designed and calculated. An ex-
periment is made to compare w ith tw o starting systems. T he experimental results indicate that the
new starting system can improve the performance of auto start-up and increase the life of the storage
battery .
