I this paper, the whole mitocho dria co trol regio of the samples from Weixi, Yu a Provi ce aswell asthe whole cytochrome b ge e i some i dividuals were seque ced. A deep diverge ce was observed withi the Weixi populatio , which was co firmed after excludi g the possibility of existe ce a uclear pseudoge e. No etheless, if the effects of populatio structure a d migratio are co sidered, the true level of polymorphism of the Weixi populatio may be ot as high as observed.
