* * This slide summarizes the capabilities of the 7500. The Cisco 7500 series consists of three models: The 7505 is the entry-level model, and The 7507 and 7513 provide more performance, redundancy, and density. The 7576 contains two routers in a single 7513 chassis Bandwidth: The 7505 has a single Cy bus, the 7507 7513 systems have Dual Cy busses, and the 7576 has four Cybuses. A single CyBus support 1.1Gbps; the 7507 and 7513 have a total of 2.2Gbps, while the 7576 has a total of 4.4Gbps. Slots: With a single integrated RSP, the 7505 provides 4 interface slots The 7507 provides 5 interface slots, with one or 2 RSPs installed The 7513 provides 11 interface slots with one or 2 RSPs installed The 7576 provides 11 interface slots with 2 RSPs installed. Processors and Power Supplies: The 7505 supports a single Route Switch Processor (or RSP) and one power supply; The 7507, 7513, and 7576 can support dual RSPs and dual power supplies. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The Cisco 7600 is one of the industry’s leading routers in terms of performance, scalability and versatility. Performance 30 Mpps forwarding performance is available with Supervisor 2 Engine and a Crossbar Switch Fabric. The nine-slot chassis is capable of 170 Mpps with seven 16-port GE Distributed Forwarding Cards (DFC) each capable of 24 Mpps.
