Gynogenesis * ANG L-i na , ANG Xiu-feng, XIE Bing ,LI Xiao-jing, ANG Dong-hong and PENG Yun-long (College of Horticulture Science and Engineering ,Shandong AgriculturalUniversity ,Taian 271018,China) Abstract: Activitiesof peroxidase and its isoenzymes during the early stage of gynogenesis were stud- ied with summer squash ( Cucur bi ta p ep o L.) hybrid F1Bizhu. The activities of peroxidase and its isoenzymes changed obviously in unpollinated ovules cultured for 0-13 days.The results showed that the activity of total peroxidase (POD), NADH peroxidase(NADHPOD), indole-3-acetic acid peroxi- dase(IAAO),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) were all increasedgradually. hile cytochromeperox- idase (COX) and ascorbate peroxidase (ASP) decreased first , then increased slightly.
