T he model repr oduced t he effect s of initial solution concent ration , and of incr ea sing time on the adsorpt ion by 5 soils . Both the simulated and observed data showed that at low init ial solution concent r at ions , phosphat e in the solut ion decr eased r apidly near to zero in a few hour s or minut es . And t he simulated re sults suggested t hat t he rate of phosphat e sorption by soils under the condi tion of the solution concent ration decr eased wi th sorpt ion is much slower t han that t he solution concent ration remains const ant .
