Cui Dezhi Author: Dong NannanDong Nannan Abstract Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the clinical efficacy on traditional Chinese medicine in Treating peripheral neuropathy of pristine and gerontal diabetic foot, and try to discuss deeply the etiology and pathogenesis of peripheral neuropathy of pristine and gerontal diabetic foot and clarify the efficacy and mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine by using the theory of TCM. Methods : In establishing the strict diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria and efficacy of assessment criteria, based on a random, balanced against the principle of 62 patients qualified as subjects 32 cases were divided into experimental group given Chinese Herbs and external wash treatment ; 30 cases were divided into control group treated with the basis of treatment (diabetes education, exercise therapy, di et control, oral hypoglyceemia drugs or subcutaneous insulin, oral mecobalamin tablets). Above two groups of patients symptoms, blood, nerve conduction velocity, fasting plasma glucose (FPG) and 2h postprandial plasma glucose (2hPG).glycosylated hemoglobin (Hb A1c), lipid series the super-sensitivity and C-reactive protein (CRP) were observed before and after treating between the two groups of patients,4 weeks is a course of treatment, with a observation of two courses and a total of 8weeks.
