The Research on the Correlation between Syndrome Key Factors of TCM and Clinical Features of Epilepsy in Children Speciality：Pediatric nervous system disease research of TCM Author ：Lin Jiyan Tutor：Professor Zhang Baoqing Abstract Traditional Chinese medicine has accumulated a wealth of experience on the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric epilepsy in the long medical practice, and its efficacy is obvious.But for a variety of reasons,at present such as types of epilepsy syndromes there exist a lot of dispute, this also affect clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment of standardization. Objectives:Through the investigation of the 75 clinical cases of pediatric epilepsy , exploring the correlation between syndrome key factors of TCM and clinical features of epilepsy in children, to provide an objective basis for the treatment of this disease, but also a future reference for pattern identification and treatment. Methods:Through the review of previous literatures, and combined with the feedback information in clinical investigation , establishing relevant database,using SPSS16.0 Statistical Package for relative data processing with descriptive analysis and frequency analysis,getting the correlation between syndrome key factors of TCM and clinical features of epilepsy in children. Results: 1.General information: men and women ratio is 1.586:1, the age of onset concentrates 1 to 3 years old;2.The characteristics of TCM syndrome factors distribution: the wind syndrome factor for children of epilepsy is the most frequent element, accounting for 34.67% of all cases, the spirit syndrome factor accounts for 20.00%, the sputum syndrome factor accounts for 16.00%, the deficiency syndrome factor accounts for 9.33%, the heat syndrome factor accoun
