The Observation of Clinical Effect of Tuina therapy with Purging Heat and Removing Stagnation to Treat Pedo-dysporia Disease in Type of Syndrome of Excessive Heat in Intestine Speciality: Acupuncture Moxibustion and Tuina Author: Sun Zhengxin Tutor: Yu Juan Abstract Objective: This study is to observe the difference curative effect between tuina therapy and Wangshi Baochi pills in treating pedo-dysporia in type of syndrome of excessive heat in intestine, and to objectively evaluate the curative effects of tuina therapy in treating pedo-dysporia and provide objective evidence for clinical treatment. Methods: 64 pedo-dysporia patients, in type of syndrome of excessive heat in intestine, were randomly divided into treatment and control group, 32 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated by massage therapy with purging heat and removing stagnation method. The control group was treated with Wangshi Baochi pills. Results: In treatment group, the comprehensive overall curative effect rate and cure effect of were 100% and 34.4%. In control group, the comprehensive overall curative effect rate and cure effect were 86.7% and 15.6%. There was a significant difference in curative effect and cure rate between the two groups (P0.05), treatment group is superior to control group. The scores of the frequency of defecate, abdominal distension and pains and hemafecia, and so on had a significant difference (P0.05) between two groups, The scores of difficulty of defecate and reddened tongue with yellow sticky had no significant difference (P0.05) between two groups.
