Definition of Nausea and Vomiting Nausea ：the inclination or feeling of imminent desire to vomit, usually felt in the throat or epi-gastrum. Associated with decreased activity of the stomach. Vomiting： the forceful oral expulsion of gastric contents via retro-peristalsis.
