Box 51Q9，Beijing 1QQQ94,PRC) Abstract Fuzzy clustering classification to the varietal radiosensitivity of wheat (Triticum aestivum L. ) was carried out in the present study. According to their response to the radiation of gamma rays,49 wheat varieties were classified into five groups：higher resistantresistant?intermediate response,sensitive,and higher sensitive. The research presents a new approach for the classification of the varietal radiosensitivity of a certain plant species, and the result is valuable for choosing the adequate irradiated materials and determining the optimal dosage so as to enhance the mutagenic efficiency in wheat radiation breeding. The reliablity and advantage of the fuzzy clustering classification for the plant varietal radiosensitivity were briefly discussed.
