It is not different from domestic trade in motivation and behavior. It is the behavior of every individual to make fortune and to make fortune is also a good reason for a country to initiate trade with other countries or areas. Foreign trade, since 1978 when China implemented the Policy of Reform and Opening-up, has become a very important factor in driving China’s economy to a higher level. It has made great contribution to the prosperity of China and to the construction of socialism within the terrority of China. For individuals, to make money is the biggest motivation; for a country, to make its own economy have continual healthy growth is what matters most. So a country needs strategies to adjust itself to the changing or changed environment to make sure it can obtain the vantage point in international trade. As business English majors, it is very important to know how to trade with other countries, however we not only need to know how to trade but also need to know how to make fortune through trade with other countries. Net export is called one of the Three-Wagons of Chian’s economy. The greater the net export is, the more fortune we are making through foreign trade. And only through successful foreign trade can we make net export greater. So it is very important for us to know how to trade with other countries. This thesis mainly discuss the strategy changes of China’s foreign trade in the twenty-first century
