Abstract
Water is the essential basic natural resources to humans survival and development，
and it’S also the strategic economic resources to human growth and development．The
irrational utilization of water resources has caused the shortage of wate‘which will
severely constrain the sustainable development of social and economic．As the result，
taken an investigation and analysis of regional water resources in amount，quality,use of
the situation and the balance between supply and demand is helping US to master the
main problems of water resources comprehensively and objectively,and helping US to
keep the sustainable use of water resources．This study is guided by the conception of
sustainable development，synthetically use the methods of typical investigation and
mathematical analysis，from the perspective of sustainable use of water resources，
through the fields investigation and datum statistics，combine of qualitative and
quantitative，investigated and analysis the circumstances of water resources and the use
condition of water basic situation in Gusong river Valley．On this foundation we had a
reasonable evaluation and an analysis of balance between supply and demand of the use
condition of water resources in Gusong river Basin．The main findings are as foIlows：
1．The average rainfall in Gusong river Valley for years is 1162．3mm，the runoff depth
is 750mm，the average surface evaporation is 999．7mm，the average drought index for
years is 0．56，and the average land surface evaporation is 397．7mm，belongs to the humid
climatic zones．The main groundwater is the rock fissure cave water,and the amount of
groundwater is 101 million m3．The valley runo仟is seriously influenced by rainfalls，and is
the uneven distribution of time and space，making the unbalance of distribution of water
reSOUrCeS．
