ABSTRACT:The stat陵ics of questionnaire survey about the present situation of
Students’jnstrument learning shows:First.the instruments students like to select in class
are electronic organ,side drum and recorders.Most students hope to Iearn to play the
instrument they Jike ln spare time,which ls the favorable condition for the inStrument
teaching.Second.most students are interested in instrument learning and have
enthusiasm.They hope to improve their performance constantly and are willing to spare
time to learn Dew songs。And they dont think jts a waste of time Jearning jnstrument,nor
wil|it interfere with their schoolwork.。mird,According to the comparison between town
and country,between boys and gir s,urban students have a preference for s nging,while
rural students and schoolboys have a preference for instrument learning;schoolgirls have
a little preference for singing,meanwhile,they show great interest in instrument,while
quite a few schoolboys like neither of them.It shows the clear direction for us to develop
their interest in music according to the different types of students.Fourth,most students
have fulJ self-confidence and take pride In the instrument they are Iearning.They Iike
expression and social contact,but they Iack cetrain ability of expression.Fifth.the
number of students who Iearn to identify the music score by playing the instrument has
surpassed the number of those by singing.Most students are able to play by memory,not
幻ok哟甙the mus)c score.They think after studying the instrument they are more
interested in music Iesson and are in higher spirits.Its easier to Iearn music.What,s more
valuable is that they consider it the main purpose of instrument Iearning to express music.
So instrument learning does play an important role in grasping music basic skills,
developing intelligence and training non—inte|IeCtuaI factors.
