Step I Lead-in
Play a guessing game. Show some students’ and teachers’ photos which are discovered, then make students guess and answer the questions:
What did he/she/they do…?
How long did he/she/they do…?
Show the last photo, make student guess who it is, show them the following sentences: She always smiles. She is about forty-two years old. She has been teaching for twenty-two years. Help students to get the answer then ask them to look at the new form of the verb: She has been teaching for twenty-two years. Boys and girls, do you want to know the new form of the verb? Please open your books and turn to Page 99, read the content of it.
Step Ⅱ Presentation
Learn the new form of the verb.
After students read the books, make them fill in the following blanks:
1) 现在完成进行时表示从 ________ 开始一直持续到 ____________ ,有可能还要持续下去的动作,常与等词连用。
2) 现在完成进行时态的构成:
主语(第一人称、复数人称)+( ) +been +(动词的 )
主语 (第三人称单数) +( )+been +(动词的 )
Then show another two sentences:
How long did they watch TV last night ?
They watched TV for two hours.
这是 ________ 时态,已经_________与________无关。
