内容提要：老子和孔子的教育思想存在很多的分歧，但又在很多的方面二者的思想又是达到共鸣，老子以“道”为他的基础，孔子亦以“礼”为基础，以培养“赤子”和“君子”似的圣人为最终目标，从教育目的、教育对象、教育方法、教育内容教育原则方面建构他的教育思想，不同的教育思想能够体现出不同的政治理想，本文对二者进行比较分析，在此基础上探讨他们教育的互补性，以及对当代教育的启迪和正负面的影响。 关键词：老子，道，不言之教，孔子，礼?
