However, because our country began to carry out one-child policy in the 1970s, the “4-2-1”city families and empty nest families sprung up, the function of traditional family endowment was weakened. In addition ,due to speed up of process of urbanization and the national pension system reform, as well as the elderly population gradually diversified pension demand, to a certain extent, accelerated the birth of endowment insurance to real. Reserve mortgages insurance mode is a development of a life support problems of the elderly scheme more perfect in foreign countries, this program also provides new ideas for the china solve the pension problem of old people. In addition to the traditional family and social old-age pension,reserve mortgages insurance relies on the old man`s own houses letting people realize self endowment, it is helpful to reduce people to worry about the old age life, also can improve the quality of life of elderly, it is important for the promotion of social stability and building a harmonious socialist society. This paper takes Yangzhou city as the research object, and on the basic of the analysis of the foreign typical countries and national pilot city experience ,combined with the actual situation of Yangzhou to analysis the feasibility of reverse mortgages insurance.
