Instructions for its use are included in the Interim Guidance for Flood Risk Products. This template provides the Mapping Partner with standard text as well as optional text based upon their scope of work. Text that is shown in bold italic font denotes either instructions for the Mapping Partner, community- specific data, or non-standard information that will need to be adjusted such as the creation of a Flood Risk dataset enhancement. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning (Risk MAP) program provides states, tribes, and local communities with flood risk information and tools that they can use to increase their resilience to flooding and better protect their citizens.
