They will be able to create and understand representations of the earth’s surface (mapping, profiling, gradient, . . . ) and describe what activities created the surface features that are observed. They will also reflect on human activity with regard to the earth’s surface. This will be accomplished through in-class activities and laboratories, as well as independent projects.
