论中学生英语学习动机激发—从情感教学视角分析
摘要:
学习动机是影响英语学习过程中最重要的因素之一,学生学习动机的高低很大程度上影响着学生学习成绩的好坏,进而也会影响到学生的自我效能感和自信心。因此,学习动机对英语学习非常重要,研究学习动机对于中学教学有重要意义。
调查研究表明,现在的中学生学习动机有普遍下降的趋势,教师采用各种教学策略激发学生的学习动机就更为重要了,然而,大多数的解决策略都是从具体的教学方法入手,很少会从情感角度来探索相应的解决方法。根据马斯洛的需要层次理论,个体成长发展的内在力量是动机。而动机是由多种不同性质的需要所组成,各种需要之间,有先后顺序与高低层次之分。马斯洛认为,人类的需要是分层次的,由低到高。它们是:生理需求、安全需求、社交需求、尊重需求、自我实现需求,因此,只有当个体满足了较低层次的基本需求后,才会考虑较高层次的需要。所以,要想让学生在学习上有较高的学习动机,就应首先真正以学生为中心,关爱学生,满足学生在情感上的需求。
本文将从”情感角度”来分析影响学生学习动机的因素,并通过分析这些因素来提出相应的动机激励策略。

An Analysis of Stimulation of Middle-school Students’ Learning Motivation from the Perspective of Affective Education
Abstract:
Motivation is considered to be one of the most important factors in the course of English learning. The level of students’ learning motivation has great influence on students’ learning achievements, and moreover, it will also affect their self-efficacy and self-confidence. Therefore, studying learning motivation has important significance for middle-school English teaching.
Researches show that at present, middle-school students’ learning motivation has the tendency of dropping. So, it is more important for teachers to adopt various teaching strategies to inspire students’ learning motivation. However, most of the methods are started from specific teaching strategies; few of them are considered of seeking solutions from emotional point of view
According to Maslow’s need theory, the inner strength for Individual’s growth and development is motivation. And motivation is composed of different kinds of needs. Within each needs, lower need must be met before moving to the next higher level. They are: psychological needs, safety needs, belongingness and love needs, and esteem needs. So, in order to motivate our students to learn, we should take student as the center of all teaching, care them, love them, and satisfy their affective needs.
