Methods to 106 heart failure patients with ischemic heart disease were randomly divided into treatment group and 53 patients in each group were the control group received conventional therapy, the treatment group on the basis of conventional therapy plus atorvastatin 20 mg, orally once per night, patients were observed before and after the ejection fraction (EF), left ventricular fractional shortening (FS), left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD) and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP). Results in treatment group than in the control EF, FS increased significantly, BNP significantly decreased, LVEDD was significantly reduced, the difference was statistically significant (P lt;0.05) . Conclusion Atorvastatin ischemic heart disease may improve myocardial ischemia and hypoxia, save or improve the patient’s heart function, reduce and delay the occurrence and development of heart failure and is worthy of promotion and application.
